Bunny Oreo Balls (Printable)

Chocolate-dipped Oreo truffles shaped into adorable bunny figures with marshmallow tails and ears

# What You'll Need:

→ Oreo Mixture

01 - 36 Oreo cookies (regular, not Double Stuf)
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened

→ Coating & Decoration

03 - 14 oz white chocolate or white candy melts
04 - Pink candy melts or pink food coloring (for ears and nose)
05 - Mini marshmallows (for tails and ears)
06 - Edible black food marker or black decorating gel (for eyes)
07 - Sprinkles or colored sugar (optional, for decoration)

# How To Make It:

01 - Process the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
02 - Add softened cream cheese and blend until fully combined and a dough forms.
03 - Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture, roll into a ball, then gently shape each ball into a slightly oval bunny head. Repeat for all mixture.
04 - Cut mini marshmallows in half for tails and into slivers for ears. Set aside.
05 - Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
06 - Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
07 - Dip each Oreo ball in the melted chocolate, coating completely. Let excess drip off and return to the parchment-lined sheet.
08 - While coating is still wet, attach two mini marshmallow slivers for ears and one half-marshmallow for the tail. Let the chocolate set for 5–10 minutes.
09 - Using a toothpick dipped in pink candy melts or food coloring, add a nose and fill the insides of the ears. Draw eyes with an edible food marker or black decorating gel.
10 - Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

# Expert Hints:

01 -
  • These disappear faster than regular Oreo balls because somehow the bunny shapes make them taste twice as magical
  • The decorating part becomes an unexpected party activity that kids and adults both get weirdly competitive about
02 -
  • If your kitchen runs hot work in small batches keeping the undipped bunnies in the freezer until the last possible second
  • Candy melts are much more forgiving than actual white chocolate for first timers dipping at home
03 -
  • Wipe your knife with a damp cloth between cutting marshmallows to prevent sticky buildup that mars your clean cuts
  • Keep a small bowl of warm water nearby to dip your fingers in when shaping the bunny heads if the dough starts sticking
